Bottega S.p.A. is both a winery and a distillery, with a history of four centuries. It is located in Bibano di Godega (TV), in the Prosecco Doc area, 50 km north of Venice.
Soffieria Alexander is located about 6 km from the current headquarters, in Pianzano di Godega S.Urbano, the original headquarters of the company. Here the blown glass bottles and other objects are mouth blown by our master glassmakers.
The blown-glass is an ideal container for Grappa because it embellishes and exhalts transparencies. The legendary skill of the master Venetian glass blowers distinguishes itself by giving form to a material which is alive: glass, which, by using heat, is gradually coaxed until it takes on a final shape. The bottles made of mouth blown glass, designed by Sandro Bottega, are an expression of this art and were object of a prestigious itinerant exhibition, called “Art in Grappa”.
Our master glassmakers also make glasses, jugs and teapots, which are true works of art. Perfect for embellishing your tables.
Carlo Moretti is a “factory of originals”, one of the last few remaining in Murano. Founded more than fifty years ago, on 30th October 1958 by Carlo and Giovanni Moretti – two young brothers from a Murano family of glass entrepreneurs – it was acquired in 2013 by a Venetian holding company that operates in the world of fashion. The mission is to develop and consolidate the brand’s presence on international markets, while respecting the brand’s identity in a contemporary context by means of a new strategy involving ongoing and progressive innovation in management, products and market approach together with the implementation of the lighting-contract sector. This vision gives an added value for the current management that feels a string “duty” to promote this unique Italian product in the world.
